|Stephanie Franklin Bio|
Stephanie Franklin is currently Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources at Nuance Communications, responsible for the HR Business Partner function, Talent & Organizational Development and M&A. She joined Nuance in July 2014 as Vice President, Human Resources for the Healthcare division and has held positions of increasing responsibility since that time.
Prior to Nuance, Stephanie was Vice President, Talent & Integrated HR Solutions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) with responsibility for the enterprise HRBP function, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Leadership Development and Diversity & Inclusion. Additionally, Stephanie spent 12 years at Procter & Gamble (including Gillette & Duracell), both in the U.S. and abroad. Stephanie holds a breadth of experience in developing & implementing human capital strategies to enable business objectives. Her HR expertise encompasses organization design and culture change, talent management and capability development, mergers and acquisitions, and leadership coaching across multiple businesses and geographies. Stephanie is a certified Executive Coach and Myers Briggs facilitator. Building on her passion to enable individuals & organizations to achieve their unique potential, she invests significant effort in leading, coaching and developing others.
Stephanie serves her community in multiple capacities; most recently elected as the Board Chair for Boston Board of March of Dimes, and is currently a Board Member and President Elect for the HR Leadership Forum (HRLF). Stephanie was co-founder & leader of the Procter & Gamble Boston Women’s Network, has served as a senior mentor for the Women Unlimited Leadership Development Program, and served as Vice Chair of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay Healthy Childhood Development Initiative.
Stephanie is from Leitchfield, KY where she attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors with a B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Corporate and Organizational Communications. She worked as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communications prior to moving into the field of Human Resources.
Stephanie resides in Hanson, MA with her husband Ken, and three children: Blake, Lucas & Anna Grace.
