Dear HRLF Members,
After careful consideration, HRLF has postponed the unConference program scheduled for April 29 at Tufts Health Plan, in Watertown, MA.
The decision to postpone this program was not taken lightly. We have been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as state and local governments. In the last week, we've also learned of the increasing number of travel advisories and restrictions being placed on numerous organizations and their employees.
The leadership of HRLF also recognizes, in the context of the available data, the importance of avoiding the potential of contributing to disease spread by convening an event. As with so many of the other actions being taken globally, this is ultimately a public health measure.
We expect to reschedule the unConference for a date to be determined, most likely in the fall. We will update our website, LinkedIn and Twitter as details for the unConference program become available. HRLF is vigilantly assessing our May and June events. As of now, there are no changes to those programs and we will promptly communicate updates as they occur in this rapidly changing pandemic.
If you were a paid registrant for the April 29th unConference program, we are processing refunds. You will receive a confirmation receipt of your refund.
We thank you for your efforts to care for those who may be affected in your community, and we wish you the best of health.
