Part 2 with Late Nite Art, Closing Comments
HRLF members attend at no charge, non-member registration is $199. Teams are feeling increasingly overwhelmed, stressed, and disengaged. How do we recover and sustain motivation? Join us for an engaging and provocative two-part program that takes a closer look at these issues and how they play out at work. We will kick off the morning with Robin Abrahams, PhD, Psychologist, and author of the Boston Globe Magazine column "Miss Conduct," who will talk on "Advice for the Unmotivated."
Then facilitators Adam Rosendahl and Elizabeth Solomon from Late Nite Art will lead us through an interactive experience to humanize one another beyond the roles we play at work, explore creative ways to foster connection and understanding in the workplace, and strengthen the HRLF community. You will leave feeling refueled, connected, and ready to put new tools into practice with your teams!
Speakers
Robin Abrahams, PhD
Psychologist and Author
Robin Abrahams is the author of the “Miss Conduct” advice column in the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, and of the book Miss Conduct’s Mind Over Manners, a guide to etiquette in a diverse society. Robin holds a PhD in psychology from Boston University,
and works as a research associate at Harvard Business School, writing on wide-ranging topics from coping with burnout to navigating career changes to lifetime learning strategies. She is active in the local theater scene and has found acting training
every bit as useful as psychology in writing her column. Robin’s first full-length play will be produced this spring by Somerville’s Theatre@First, a fact which fills her with alternating pride and terror.

Late Nite Art creates unconventional yet highly effective learning and development programs for leaders and teams around the globe. They have a science-based method that breaks down barriers, and in a single event, builds the connection and collaboration that normally takes months (or even years) for leaders to create. Combining experiential learning, cutting edge facilitation, and a variety of art forms, LNA helps participants take more risks, creatively solve their business challenges, and engage in the conversations they want to have, but just aren’t having.
